Nick Harper – ’58 Fordwych Rd.’ Tour
New Album Out September 26, 2025
Nick Harper, one of the UK’s most electrifying and under-the-radar talents, returns with a brand new album and a string of exclusive live dates to celebrate the release of 58 Fordwych Rd., out September 26 via Sangraal / Weatherbox.
The new record is inspired by Harper’s unique childhood, spent in the company of legendary 1960s songwriters and musicians. Growing up in a small Kilburn flat that doubled as an after-hours hub for icons like Bert Jansch, Davy Graham, Sandy Denny, Paul Simon, and Marc Bolan, Nick soaked up the sounds and spirit of the acoustic explosion at the heart of London’s folk scene. That flat—58 Fordwych Road—was also home to his father, renowned singer-songwriter Roy Harper.
Blending this rich heritage with decades of his own songwriting and virtuosic guitar work, 58 Fordwych Rd. is more than a tribute; it’s a deeply personal and musically stunning journey into the roots of British folk and beyond. The album captures the live magic of Nick’s 2019 award-winning Edinburgh Fringe residency, where he brought this story to life and recorded the show in front of sold-out audiences.
Now, following a creative burst that’s seen three album releases since 2020 and a recent appearance alongside Roy Harper at Glastonbury, Nick is back to present 58 Fordwych Rd. live—reviving the music, stories, and spirit of that pivotal time in British music history.
With just five intimate shows planned, this is a rare chance to experience an extraordinary artist at the height of his powers.
