We are delighted to welcome French-born alt-folk artist Mr. Novembre back to The Yard to celebrate the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Petrichor!
The Manchester-based project, led by singer-songwriter Henry Colquhoun, has evolved into a formidable five-piece ensemble. Their latest work is a “spring-inspired” collection that leans into a lush, cinematic sound- expect sweeping string arrangements, intricate horn accompaniments, and the cathartic, introspective storytelling that has become the band’s hallmark. Their music bridges the gap between indie-folk and chamber pop, offering songs of love, loss, and the peace found after the storm.

Opening the evening is the wildly creative acoustic duo, Nastee Chapel. Comprising Natalie Grace Kelsey and Steve van Niekerk, they are renowned for a high-energy performance that defies simple categorization. Their set is a musical melting pot featuring clog dancing, flute playing, cajon stomping, and guitar shredding. Fusing traditional folk with influences ranging from 70s prog-rock to hard rock and jazz, they provide a perfect, heart-warming start to the night.
