Bay Bryan (Live)

An Intimate Preview: Bay Shares New Concept Album BAYARD – Live at The Yard, Manchester
With support from Manchester singer-songwriter Ryan Buxton

Experience a unique, one-off “living room”-style concert as Bay and their brilliant band offer an exclusive preview of forthcoming concept album BAYARD, live at The Yard – Manchester’s independent creative hub.

After five months of writing and experimenting, Bay’s second concept album is beginning to take shape. Before heading into the studio, the band is inviting you into their home turf for a one-night-only hometown show. Expect raw, in-progress versions of the new material, brought to life in an intimate and informal setting.

Channelling the energy of an NPR Tiny Desk concert, Bay will be joined on stage by a stellar line-up of musicians: Pete Mitchell (drums), Matthew Campbell (guitar), and Sam Leigh (bass). Together, they’ll share the stories, sounds, and sonic world of BAYARD – a bold evolution from the introspective The Meadow, introducing a playful, groove-driven edge inspired by Bay’s drag alter ego, Queen Bayard.

Fans of recent single Drifting will catch early glimpses of the new musical direction: think funk-infused rhythms, camp theatricality, and imaginative, story-led songwriting that sets Bay apart.

“Complex songwriting sees arrangements rise and fall with all the drama of the Rockies from whence he came… a deft, fairylike elegance.”
Piccadilly Records

“Bay’s ability to conjure imaginative, story-led songs… sets them apart from the crowd.”
Fortitude Magazine

Bay’s live shows are known for their standout vocals, layered arrangements and emotionally rich performances. Whether you’re a long-time fan or a first-time listener, this intimate show promises a powerful and memorable experience.
