Hosted by Emma Dabiri and presented by Wake The Beast, The Really Irish? House Party brings together live music, DJs, spoken word, storytelling, conversation and dancing for a celebration of the many ways of being Irish today.

Centred on multi-heritage and diasporic Irish voices, expect the warmth and energy of a great house gathering alongside conversations about identity, migration, cultural inheritance and belonging.

Bringing together multi-heritage Irish communities, Irish Travellers, LGBTQ+ voices and the wider Irish diaspora, the House Party creates space for stories, experiences and perspectives to be celebrated.

Part performance, part conversation, but full PARTY, it’s an opportunity to celebrate the creativity and cultural richness of multi-heritage Ireland, challenge assumptions, make new connections and explore the changing face of Irish identity.

Whether you were born in Ireland, have Irish roots, come from a multi-heritage background, have a complicated relationship with your Irishness, or are simply curious about what being Irish means today, there’s a place for you at the party.
