Back for their third event, That Yard Thing’s free, family-friendly Hip Hop gathering brings community, creativity and culture to life through music, dance, art, food and shared participation.
Rooted in Cheetham Hill’s Hip Hop heritage, it creates an intergenerational space where children, young people, parents and experienced artists learn and create together, from cyphers and DJing to painting and live percussion.
With no emphasis on spectatorship, the event celebrates collective expression, cultural exchange and mentorship, attracting visitors from across the UK who value its authentic, inclusive and community-led spirit.
